What Is Executive Coaching?

Executive coaching is a confidential partnership that helps senior leaders make better decisions, lead more effectively, and see what they may be missing, especially when the pressure is on.

Seeing what you may be missing

I have spent enough time in executive conference rooms to know this: being smart, experienced, and successful does not mean you can see every angle. In fact, the higher you rise, the fewer people may be willing to tell you what they really think. That is where a strong executive coach earns their place.

Executive coaching creates room to challenge assumptions, confront blind spots, work through difficult conversations, and think clearly about decisions that affect people, performance, and careers. It is different from a training class. The work starts with the real situations on your desk, not a hypothetical case study.

Executive judgment under pressure

At Kiln Global®, our focus is executive judgment under pressure. Pressure narrows perspective. Perspective shapes judgment. Judgment determines action. We help leaders widen the view before they make the call.

I bring more than 30 years of corporate operating experience, including leadership roles at Coca-Cola North America and Imperial Sugar, along with my work coaching senior executives. I know the difference between advice that sounds good in a workshop and decisions you have to live with on Monday morning.

My work is leadership. My business is perspective.
